A very reliable car although some of the electrics work whenever they feel like it. A door will unlock then it wont, a window will roll down then it wont. Both cars have been regularly serviced and we have owned them for a good number of years. The Tractor and all equipment we purchased from new.
INCOME. The Kennels. There can be no guarantees as to your income from these because it would really depend on you. The job would suit those who are genuine animal lovers as we are. We have a regular clientele and our income has given a pretty good standard of living since they opened 9 years ago. Our boarding guests are well looked after and cared for. We de - husk the nuts using our own machine which attaches to the tractor before taking them down to the local cooperative for weighing and payment. Again there can be no guarantees as to the income from these. It depends on the weight and quality of the crop. There is also a Government grant each year for farming Almonds. This amount varies year on year. The locals make quit an event from harvesting the Almonds. Usually the whole family joins in to help. They set up a table and chairs put on a nice tablecloth have an abundance of, Bread, Cheese and Wine and have a really good time bringing in their harvest. We usually take out a picnic with a flask of Coffee plus maybe a drink with a little bit more strength in it to help us through each day. If you just wanted to live in a fantastic farmhouse in a beautiful location but would rather not do all the work, there are plenty of people only to pleased to do it for you. At a cost of course. There is also a machine that can do the harvest for you in about 5 hours. Problem with this is that it takes out the enjoyment and feeling of achievement. Then there is the mobile home. You could either rent it out long term or for holiday lets or maybe let the person who runs the farm/kennels for you use it. Whatever, it is another source of income for you should you want it.
I could say the usual thing. A Genuine reason for sale, which by the way there is, but, to leave this house, this business, this location this town will be heart wrenching. We have put every ounce of our hearts, souls, sweat,blood and tears into it, not to mention a skip load of money.
